Welcome to Downs Bros Body Shop. The Downs family worked within the motor trade industry for many years before deciding to open Downs Bros Autobody in the early 1990s. The business covers a wide range of motor repair facilities including additional

recovery services and offering customers a courtesy car should they need it.

Over the years, we have built up a strong customer base with awareness

of our high quality standards and customer service continuing to grow

within the local area. Our aim is to always put the customer first by

explaining our services and what we can do to assist a customer during

the repair process, through to the return of their vehicle.

We can only deliver this level of service to our customers due to the

dedication and skills of our committed team.

About Us

 

Here at Downs Bros Autobody, we have a team of highly experienced,

dedicated and qualified tradesmen who cover a wide range of vehicle

repairs.

​

Jonny, is the director of the business as well as an extremely well-qualified

vehicle refinisher, who has over 18 years’ experience. Jonny takes extreme

pride and responsibility for all work carried out on the premises.

​

Working alongside Jonny is his brother William. William is a fully qualified

vehicle refinisher who can also carry out mechanical duties.

​

Paul, the father of the owners, helps in the day to day running of Downs

Bros Autobody. Paul has a keen interest in the recovery aspect of the

business and aims to keep everything running smoothly. Paul has now

handed the business over to his sons to carry on into the future.

​

James works as a mechanical engineer and has 30 years’ experience

in the motor trade. James regularly keeps up to date with all the latest

vehicle updates in the fast-moving world of the motor industry.

Our office staff keep up to date with all our phone calls, emails, invoices,

and general enquires. Our committed and dedicated team are more

than happy to answer any questions, concerns or queries our customers may have.
